Amber Clip On Book Light, Rechargeable, 4 Brightness Levels

Read in bed without waking anyone: a warm amber light that clips to the page and charges by USB.

• Warm light, four levels: choose the glow that suits the page, from a faint amber to a clear reading light.
• Clips anywhere: the padded clip grips a paperback, a hardback, a Kindle case or the headboard.
• USB rechargeable: no coin cells to replace, one charge lasts many evenings of reading.

The Amber Clip On Book Light is for the last chapter of the night. The light is warm rather than blue white, so it does not wake you up the way a phone screen does, and it is narrow enough to stay on your page rather than on your partner's pillow.

The clip opens wide enough for a thick hardback and is padded so it does not mark the cover. The neck bends and holds its position. Four brightness levels are one button press apart.

It charges from any USB port with the included cable. There is nothing to replace and nothing to unscrew.

It weighs about the same as a small chocolate bar, which is why it also lives well in a travel bag, on a music stand or beside a puzzle.

Questions

How long does a charge last?
Several evenings on the lower settings. On the brightest setting expect a few hours of continuous use before it needs the USB cable.

Is the light warm or blue?
Warm. We chose this model because its lowest two settings are amber, which is far gentler before sleep.

Will it damage the book cover?
No. The clip is padded and the pressure is light.

Does it come with a charger?
It comes with a USB cable. Plug it into any USB port or phone charger.
